Using the Tilt Shift Blur to Combine 2D and 3D Images

The tilt shift blur can be used to produce all manner of awesome perspective effects, but in this video we look at how the filter can be used to help integrate 2D and 3D images.

The 3D image in this video was rendered by creating 3D Text and rendering it with a shadow and reflection on the built-in ground plane, positioning the text so that the reflection covers the part of the text that would otherwise render under the ground plane. The 2D image is then introduced into the scene and matched against the 3D scene using the tilt sift filter.
